Payton’s Project is a non-profit whose mission is mental wellness, suicide prevention, benefits of kindness and concussion awareness after the passing of Payton Freeze in 2016. To date we have awarded $80K in post-secondary education scholarships and funded 17 Wellness Rooms in area schools. - What is a memorable moment or accomplishment you can share about your business?
Our organization has helped save lives of young people who had suicide ideation through our awareness campaign and helped youngsters overcome bullying from their peer group. - How did you get involved with HGBA and what do you like most about being part of our networking community?
We were invited by a long-time member. - Are there any upcoming goals or projects you or your business are excited about?
We are holding a Cornhole Tourney on Oct 5, 2024 at Tin Cannon Brewing Co. at 2 pm. We are seeking sponsors to play in the tournament ($100 for two-member teams). We are also seeking businesses to donate raffle prizes that will be raffled off throughout the day. Anyone interested in either sponsorship or raffle donations can contact Cathy at (703) 608-6342.
